Portfolio
Shift

Shift is a co-op puzzle game in which you play as the flighty student Paya or the powerful Mur and using their different abilities solve puzzles together through time. Development took place in the last semester of VFS as our final project in 2021. It was a team of four, including myself as Project Manager and Game Designer.
Siren

Siren is a short thriller/drama I wrote and directed during my final semester at SAIT in 2019. The relationship between two friends is tested when a girl takes notice of one of them, and leads him deeper into her life.I originally pitched the story to faculty, as wrote the script myself. Additionally, I came up with the direction for the film itself, and worked with my Producer (Jessica Rovansek) and Cinematographer (Emil Agopian) to create the look and feel of the shoot. Additionally, we were the first SAIT project to ever shoot underwater!
Tierra

Tierra is a short film, funded in 2018 with the help of Telus’ STORYHIVE initiative. After a bad start to a pack trip in the Kananaskis backcountry, a young Hispanic woman, Esmeralda must bridge her past and present to find her way home.I was co-writer and director with Natalie Vargas who originally pitched the idea to me. Together we produced, directed, and wrote the story, though I handled the more nitty-gritty screenwriting parts.
about
Hi there! My name’s Brodie (She/Her).I was born in the Rockies, but ended up a tried and true inside kid who loves video games, TTRPGs, and writing! I have big dreams about writing professionally in video games and one day writing a line that really connects with someone.Like something they’d get tattooed on their arm and then tags me in a picture on twitter. That’d be cool.
